Texas Wesleyan claims championship at Chicago Bar moot court

Texas Wesleyan University School of Law won its fifth-ever national championship two weeks ago at the 29th Annual Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition. Pepperdine University School of Law was the runner up. A second Pepperdine team and Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center were eliminated in the semifinals. Twenty-seven teams from 16 schools entered.

St. John's University School of Law took home Best Brief honors. Pepperdine's Brittney Lane accepted the Best Oralist award.

Texas Wesleyan has a website story here. Pepperdine does as well, here (which also trumpets its success at the National Moot Court Competition regionals).
