South Texas breathes easy with Health Law win

South Texas College of Law took first place at this weekend's 19th Annual Health Law Moot Court Competition, hosted by Southern Illinois University School of Law and its Center for Health Law and Policy. Loyola University Chicago School of Law was the runner up of the 33-team tournament. South Texas actually beat a second South Texas team in one of the semifinal rounds; the University of Tulsa College of Law lost to Loyola in the other semi.

Tulsa also won Best Brief, which means it gets published in the Journal of Legal Medicine. Stephen Simcox of Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis was the Best Overall Oralist.
