Loyola New Orleans locks 'em up at Criminal Procedure Moot Court

Loyola University New Orleans College of Law emerged as champion at the University of San Diego School of Law's National Criminal Procedure Tournament, held October 28-30. St. Thomas University School of Law was Loyola's final-round victim. Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and South Texas College of Law went home as semifinalists. The tournament hosted an impressive 46 teams from 31 different law schools.

St. Thomas had the highest scoring Petitioner brief, with Baylor Law School claiming the award on the Respondent side. Mara Boundy of UC Hastings College of the Law was the competition's Best Oralist.
