Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University won the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition this past weekend in Chicago, ending a string of three-straight ALA victories by Chicago-Kent College of Law (Illinois Institute of Technology). Cardozo defeated Northern Illinois University College of Law in the final round. Texas Tech University School of Law and Chicago-Kent were semifinalists. Sixteen teams from 12 law schools participated.
University of Wisconsin Law School won the Best Brief award. Chicago-Kent's Gregg Barbakoff won Best Oral Argument.
