Appalachian School of Law won the Tenth Annual Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition (not to be confused with the fall's Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition) last weekend. Mercer University School of Law took second place at the 25-team tourney, which is hosted by the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law Criminal Law Center. Duke University School of Law the University of Denver Sturm College of Law enjoyed semifinal berths.
Loyola University Chicago School of Law won Best Brief, while Duke's Christopher Vieira topped the oralist rankings.
